Tyne Timber Frame Ltd is an independent privately owned timber frame kit manufacturer based in North Shields, Newcastle-upon-Tyne.

Our aim is to provide top quality timber frame kits to the small to medium sized builder and developer and the self-builder. The services we offer include:

• Engineering calculations and certification
• Insulation specification and supply
• Supply only or supply and erect nationwide.

Due to our experience in timber frame manufacturing, insulation materials supply and house construction, our expertise enables us to advise our customers on the most practical and cost effective solutions.

We have invested substantially in a modern automated production line. Design, engineering and manufacturing are fully integrated and controlled by the most recent and innovative software available. This enables us to quickly produce high quality, precisely engineered frames so that our clients benefit from speed, accuracy and cost control.

Our overriding philosophy is to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget enabling us to develop long-term mutually beneficial relationships with our clients.

Insulation - We are the experts!

Our twenty years experience in stocking and supplying insulation has often led us to find that clients suffer problems due to the insulation not being considered properly at the design stage. You can’t fit 140mm of insulation into a 90mm stud!

At initial client meetings will always discuss how the target U values of the project are to be achieved as this can have a substantial impact if the timber frame design. This avoids later problems which can prove costly & time consuming and importantly we can ensure that the client gets the most cost effective products.

Flexibility - We give you the best choice!

We offer are variety of options as follows:

• Design & supply only of timber frame kits.
• Design, supply and erect packages.
• Design & supply only of the Duo Wall system.
• Supply of Wolf Easi Joist metal web joists (these are supplied as standard in our timber frame packages).
• Supply of Structural Insulated Panels (SIPs) for a variety of applications.
